Semiconductor devices shipped without proper electrostatic protection can arrive with latent damage that only appears during field operation. Packaging discipline is therefore part of quality control, not logistics detail.
Standard practice combines a static shielding bag, desiccant and a humidity indicator card, sealed before dispatch. Moisture sensitive devices are additionally labeled with their sensitivity level and bake instructions.
DFL ELECTRONIC packs ICs, sensors and discretes in shielded bags with original manufacturer labeling retained wherever possible, and adds an outer carton with corner protection for international freight.
